Benefits of global warming?

If you live in the western part of the country right now, winter seems like it’s in full effect. If you’re here in the east, it’s summer in December.  I had a night of 4 disjointed hours of sleep thanks to a couple of people who were in pain for hours deciding that they just had to go to the hospital at 3 and 5 in the morning. They couldn’t figure that out at 10pm when they were in the same amount of pain.  Anyway, I decided to brighten my sleepy-eyed morning by visiting the house after I finished at squad.  It was a beautiful, warm morning and the temperature went into the 70’s today.  I may regret saying this but I really want it to get cold.  There are still mosquitos out in Annapolis. The plants are all confused. The grass looks like it might need to be mowed again.  Nevertheless, I am thankful that the weather was relatively warm while there was no way to heat the house.  We had a couple of close calls with it approaching freezing but we got the power connected back in time and now it’s back to super warm. Back to the house, the front is looking quite like a house with the addition of the bannister. All we need now is the mailbox and this part is done.

Inside, I thought you might like to see the inside of the cabinet that is over the hood.
It vents to the back of the house.
The hole where the old vent was has been bricked over.
Back inside, I just took a walk around.  Looking down the hallway:
Going up the stairs:
Note that the other banister is installed along with the hatch for the old attic at the top of the stairs.
Here’s Rob’s room:
Looking back at the top of the stairs:
Our new bedroom:
Looking from the opposite corner and seeing that the doors are hung and have knobs:
Back downstairs, the sun rose as I was there really lighting up the new blue in one of the bedrooms, my old walk-in closet.
